YOU ARE
ALWAYS WHOLE.


 

Everything we will do together starts and ends with the acknowledgement that you are already 100% whole and there is not an iota you need to do or change to be loved or worthy. Like for reals.  Furthermore, peace and joy are always found in the here and now, not in some lofty future when we’ve achieved the thing that will make everything chill and cool.  So in reality, you don’t actually need me. 

However, the mind can give some pretty seemingly water-tight reasons as to why the innate worthiness / freedom / joy thing doesn’t apply to us.  Too lazy. Too unsuccessful. Too old. Too fat / thin / ugly / untalented / lame / embarrassed etc ad infinitum. 

Self-inquiry is both an ancient and modern meditative art that, in my experience, manages to combine the razor-sharp interventions of cognitive work with the narrative insights of analytic therapies. Non-word salad definition: Self-inquiry is a type of meditation in which you uncover and question your thoughts/beliefs to see who you are without them. It dances between wisdom and love. Wisdom asks simple questions to unravel the identity structures that cause us suffering. Love shows understanding of what we find so that our insights are sustainable and don’t become another stick to beat ourselves with. Anything can be questioned, everything can be loved. My skill is in applying these tools to your unique being, creating a shared space dedicated to your delicious inner world where we can travel together like intrepid explorers. Through our travels we can begin to understand why you do the things you do and, with utter respect to your system, uncover the beliefs and emotions that are causing you to suffer so that they feel safe to dissolve into love and you can live with more ease.

Our sessions will be an opportunity to:

  • Gently look into your stressful beliefs using The Work of Byron Katie and various other inquiry methods to see that they are merely the ghosts of a conditioned past doing their best to protect us but with no basis in our current reality. 

  • Tenderly explore your emotions using the Emotional Freedom Technique and other modalities to see that they’re perhaps not as scary as you think they are. 

  • Grow a tailored toolbox of nuggets and practices to use in the 23 hours of the day when we’re not in session to begin to feel empowered and safe to rest into your glorious self exactly as you are with whatever shows up. 

The Deats:

  • Sessions can take place anywhere in the world through Zoom

  • Session cost is €80 and lasts 1 hour (please get in touch if you can’t afford this and we might be able to work something out)
